This week in Maths, we have been learning about position and direction. We started by learning left and right by playing a version of Twister, then we practised forwards and backwards using Bee-Bots. We also explored the words above and below to describe position. In Writing, we have continued writing first person sentences about Erin and The Secret of Black Rock as we prepare to write our diary entries next week.

In RE, we have been learning about the special ways Muslims welcome new babies. In History, we learnt about the Rainhill Trials and Stephenson’s Rocket, and how they helped shape the future of transport. In Art, we created portraits using pens and shapes to outline our facial features.

We also enjoyed our OAL session this week with Wild One Adventures, where we completed 15 exciting challenges to become pilots! In PSHE, we discussed overcoming challenges, such as learning how to ride a bike. We also had a fantastic Sports Day and showed excellent teamwork and determination throughout the events!
