Worship at St. Paul’s

Worship is integral to life at our school and revolves around the teachings of Jesus and our core values of Friendship, Respect, Forgiveness, Responsibility, Hope, Thankfulness and Trust. The Values Committee have adopted five foundation values of Service, Justice, Perseverance, Generosity and Courage.

Each half term is focused on one of these values. Each day, we come together for a time of worship in which to learn and reflect. Whole-school worship on Monday introduces the theme for the week, followed by discussion, response and reflection in class throughout the rest of the week. We also make links to worldviews that may be different from our own, incorporating our own school values and British Values.

Values Committee

Our Values Committee helps to promote the ethos of our school. Children across school meet to plan and develop ideas and events that support our spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, in line with our CUBE curriculum.

Remote Worship

During the school closures, Worship and times of reflection were provided for children via the learning platforms Seesaw or Tapestry. Video resources continue to be provided while whole-school Worship is unable to take place (see below), along with live Worship via Zoom with Reverend Rebecca every fortnight. Daily Worship/reflection times are carried out in class across the school.
