Stay and Play Sessions

Throughout the year parents/carers are invited to stay and play sessions where they will have the opportunity to spend time with their child in their Reception classroom and outdoor provision.

During these sessions, children will have the chance to showcase their skills and activities in the classroom, while parents can actively participate in their child’s learning journey. It’s a wonderful opportunity to observe the exciting ways your child is growing and developing in their early education setting.

Why is it Important for Parents to Join?

As an EYFS setting, we believe in the importance of strong communication and collaboration between home and school. Your presence at this Stay and Play event helps foster a deeper understanding of your child’s individual needs, interests, and progress in their preschool environment. It also encourages a positive connection between school and family, supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Benefits of Attending:
  • Stronger Parent-Teacher Relationship: Your participation allows us to build a stronger partnership to better support your child’s development.
  • Insight into Learning Activities: By joining in, you’ll experience firsthand the playful, hands-on activities that help nurture your child’s creativity, problem-solving, and social skills.
  • Shared Fun and Bonding: This is a perfect opportunity to engage in play alongside your child, creating special memories while reinforcing their learning through fun, interactive activities.
  • Understanding the Preschool Environment: Witness how we create a supportive and enriching space where your child can thrive and feel safe, confident, and ready for the next stage of learning.

We strongly encourage every parent to take part in this unique experience. Your involvement makes a lasting impact on your child’s education and emotional wellbeing. Come and join us for a wonderful time for play, learning, and connection!
